Hope to see some of you in Harrisburg next week and for those of you in the Toronto or Edmonton area we will be hitting both those shows in March. Amanda will be attending the show held in Toronto and I'll be setting up a booth in Edmonton, Alberta during the same week.

Over the years Jack Hume Adventures has been fortunate enough to host some of the top media characters from the hunting industry. For 2012 Jim and Eva Shockey are lined up to hunt with us and produce a show with us to air on the Outdoor Channel and on Wild TV.

...In Schefferville / Lac Pau

Upon arriving in Schefferville / Lac Pau at about 9:00 am, you will be taken by bus to a restaurant to eat breakfast or have a coffee if you so desire.  During this time our crew will unload the baggage from the charter flight and separate your group’s baggage to be loaded onto the Otters which will take you and your party to the outpost camp.

Otter departure times can vary depending on the weather at each of our camps.  We may have beautiful weather 100 miles to the West, and at the same time have zero visibility 10 miles to the East. Please keep in mind that you will be in the sub-arctic where the weather can be unpredictable and very harsh at times.  Although we will do our utmost to get everyone to their camp as quickly as possible, we must also do it as safely as possible – which can sometimes lead to flight delays.

If Mother Nature cooperates, we usually have all Otters in the air by 11:00 am.

After arriving at camp, you will have 6 days to enjoy the tundra, food, fishing, scenery and of course caribou!

…And no, cell phones do NOT work after you leave Montreal!  Satellite phones however, are available for emergency use at each camp.
