Hope to see some of you in Harrisburg next week and for those of you in the Toronto or Edmonton area we will be hitting both those shows in March. Amanda will be attending the show held in Toronto and I'll be setting up a booth in Edmonton, Alberta during the same week.

Over the years Jack Hume Adventures has been fortunate enough to host some of the top media characters from the hunting industry. For 2012 Jim and Eva Shockey are lined up to hunt with us and produce a show with us to air on the Outdoor Channel and on Wild TV.

…In Montreal

If you are flying into Montreal, you will be arriving at the Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport.  Once you have collected all of your baggage, please locate the courtesy phone for the Holiday Inn Hotel near the exit doors and tell the receptionist that you need to be picked up by the shuttle bus.

If you are driving to Montreal, you must first check-in at the reception of the Holiday Inn Hotel located at 6500 Cote de Liesse Blvd.  There, you will be given a parking slip and asked to move your vehicle to the secured parking area at the rear of the hotel.  This area is guarded 24 hours per day.  Please keep in mind that you must park within this area to benefit from the guarded service.

Your group will be given a specific meeting time (indicated in your itinerary pack) to gather at the rear of the Holiday Inn Hotel during the afternoon or early evening the day before your scheduled departure.  There, you will find a trailer with a “Jack Hume Adventures” sign – this is the meeting area.  You will be greeted by Richard’s wife, Amanda.

Please bring with you ALL of the items that you will be taking with you on your hunt.  Even though there may be items that you might not want to check-in, you must still bring them to the meeting to be weighed and we will return them to you.  You must have your name clearly indicated on each piece of baggage.  Once all of your baggage has been checked-in, you will not have access to your belongings until you reach your outpost camp.  Bearing this in mind, you may want to keep with you any items (i.e. warm jacket, gloves, camera) that you might need before you reach the outpost camp.  Remember that your baggage weight limit is 65 lbs per person.  Any amount exceeding 65 lbs will be subject to a $3.00 per pound surcharge up to a maximum of 80 lbs on availability basis only.  Anyone who does not have a vehicle with them in Montreal and would like to leave items behind, may leave them in our trailer for the duration of their hunt.

The meeting will last approximately 1 hour.  During which time you will get a briefing on the territory where you will be hunting, receive your license and registration forms and have the opportunity to purchase any other licenses which may be of interest to you (i.e. fishing, black bear, small game).  Please bring your JHA contract and a form of identification to the meeting.  Also available for purchase will be a selection of fishing lures.

***The ONLY method of payment accepted will be cash – credit cards or personal checks cannot be accepted***

The following morning, the first day of your hunt, we will reconvene at the same area near the JHA trailer to meet the shuttle bus at 5:15 am.  The bus will drop you off directly at the charter terminal where you will board the aircraft which will depart at 6:00 am.
